These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tymex services, websites, and mobile applications (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using Tymex, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. By using Tymex, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. Account Registration

• You are responsible for maintaining account security.
• You must provide accurate and complete information.
• You may not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.

3. Tymex Time Credits

Tymex time credits represent babysitting hours. Time credits are not legal tender, are not a stored value account, and have no cash value outside the Tymex platform. Credits may be earned, spent, or sold in the marketplace according to these Terms.

4. Marketplace Listings and Bookings

• Listings must be accurate and reflect available time hours.
• Parents are responsible for providing correct booking details.
• Sitters are responsible for honoring accepted jobs and following local laws.
• Tymex may suspend or cancel listings that violate policies or present safety risks.

5. Payments and Fees

Tymex charges a marketplace commission on time sales and a monthly fee per child profile. Payment processing is handled by Stripe or other third-party providers. You authorize Tymex to charge your selected payment method for applicable fees.

6. Subscriptions

Child profile subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You can manage subscriptions in the app.

7. Safety and Conduct

• You agree to treat others respectfully and follow all applicable laws.
• You may not use Tymex for illegal, abusive, or fraudulent activity.
• Tymex reserves the right to remove users or content that violate these Terms.

8. Content and Intellectual Property

Tymex and its content are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Services without permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Tymex does not guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content or the availability of services. Tymex is not responsible for the actions of users.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tymex is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Services.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Tymex harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

Tymex may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or if required for safety or compliance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted with a new "Last updated" date.
